VOLUNTEER TEAMS AND TASKS
Do you want to join the ‘Kindness Crew‘?!
Here are the main roles we need to fill:
1. PUBLICITY
Organise printing
Distribute posters and flyers
Put up banners
Create a kindness exhibition at Frome Town Hall during the festival
2. ACTS OF KINDNESS
Collect and coordinate offers of acts of kindness
Carry out and/or encourage acts of kindness around the town, in care homes etc
Create kindness objects and artworks to bring magic to the streets
Create a kindness-themed Window Wanderland display
Add kind messages and objects to neighbourhood Share Boxes
Record acts of kindness eg through photos and video
3. THANK-YOU PROJECT
Collect thank-yous for a column in the Frome Times (from 26 January)
Support the thank-you window at Lo Rapitenc in Cheap Street
Explore other ways to collect stories and encourage gratitude during the festival
4. PERFORMANCE ART
Design and provide kindness ‘roaming’ in the town centre on 1 and 6 March
Explore other possibilities for kindness performance art
Assist with the closing celebration at 6pm on Sunday 6 March
5. EVENT SUPPORT
Help to organise key events
Act as a steward at already-organised events (training will be provided)
6. SCHOOLS
Act as the administrator for speakers and workshop leaders at 8 x Frome schools
Join the schools team
7. CHAMPIONS
Help to publicise the festival either by word of mouth and/or on social media
Seek business sponsorship (in cash or kind) or make a personal donation
Join in with badgemaking and other hands-on workshops at The Good Heart (see below)
