About The Event
Back to Nature in collaboration with Heal Somerset invite you to participate in an evening of nature connection and a hands-on effort aimed at practicing kindness to our wonderful planet. This event is for anyone who feels underserved or underrepresented and who could benefit from rekindling their relationship with the natural world.
As the warmth of spring returns and the days grow longer, we'll gather for a cosy fireside evening to celebrate the arrival of the Spring Equinox. With the soft glow of the fire illuminating the evening sky, we'll journal or draw using nature as the inspiration and make native wildflower seed bombs to spread kindness to nature. Once assembled, these seed bombs can be tossed into vacant lots, roadside areas, or other neglected spaces to bring bursts of colour and life to the landscape. It's a hands-on way to contribute to conservation efforts and beautify our surroundings.
We have a sliding scale system when booking the tickets, but please email us directly on backtonaturefrome@gmail.com if you wish to attend the event, but cannot make the contribution. We want to make this event affordable to everyone.
Please note: It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the firepit from the main event area, and the ground is uneven and muddy, so please bring sturdy, waterproof shoes or wellies. Bring blankets, cushions and warm clothes and a torch if you have one.
Please note that the venue is not yet wheelchair-accessible, unfortunately, but Heal Somerset is working on that! If you use an assistance dog, your dog will be welcome but no other dogs or pets are permitted.
