Afternoon session details:
1-1.30 - Feldenkrais with Ed Bartram: Being kind to your body through gentle movements
The session will help you develop an ability to listen more effectively to yourself, enabling you to better understand your own comfort. We will focus initially on awareness, breathing, then moving along the length of the skeleton. The session will take place with you lying on your back on the ground. Please bring a mat and a rug.
1.45 - 2.15 - Gentle Yoga - Gently Empowering Beautiful You with Elaine Ewens
A series of standing postures with hand placement that will help us embody a sense of self-kindness via body message awareness.
2.30-3 Inner Qigong: Breath-work & Movement to Energise Internal Organs with Bill Palmer
Inner Qigong is a system for developing awareness of both your body and mind through visualisation, movement and breath-work. In this session, Bill will help you to energise and tone your internal organs. This gives a sense of inner support and expansiveness and also clarifies your personal boundaries so that you can relax into being yourself without feeling stressed by external pressures.
Bill is one of the original pioneers of experiential, somatic therapy in Europe and teaches Inner Qigong all over the world as well as running regular classes in Frome.
3.15-3.45 - Time and Space to be in our Bodies with Soo Wright of Evergreen Dance
When we dance we feel fully alive. Dancing allows us to be in the moment, where we can't think about the past or the future, and to get out of our everyday head and let go of negative thoughts. In this session you'll learn and perform a simple, low-impact dance to music with others. No dance experience necessary - all welcome!
4 – 4.30 - Let Your Heart Sing with Annie Bourne
Opera singer Annie is now a Transformational Voice coach and loves to work with voices in a healing, freeing and empowering way. This will be a journey with the voice to open your heart, bringing deep peace and transformation.
